European Youth Olympics Festival of Sport - Tampere, Finland
Congratulations to Richard Goodman (1500m); Andrew Elkins (Hammer) and Liam Biddlecombe (Discus) who have been selected by the British Olympic Committee to represent GB at the European Youth Athletics Champs being held in Tampere, Finland during the week commencing 20th July.

Virtually every age group has been involved in competition over the past couple of weeks - Inter-Counties at Bedford, Schools County Championships, National Junior League and National Young Athletes League.
The Inter Counties saw Lee McConnell win over 200 metres in 23.29secs; Gemma Bennett run 12.29secs over 100 metres; Kirsty Law ..
The club will be holding their Young Athletes Cross Country Awards presentations at Copthall Stadium on Tuesday 16th June at 8pm.

SBH finished a very creditable 5th in the opening British Athletics League Premier Division fixture held in less than favourable conditions at Don Valley, Sheffield on Sunday 7th June. Winners Newham & Essex Beagles were convincing winners by almost 100pts.
