All selected athletes and reserves should be receiving personal invitations and details of arrangements during this week. Time to step up training again - there will be relay practices organised on clubnights.

With several Shaftesbury athletes hoping to make finals it was a busy day for our Team GB representatives.
Natasha Danvers, always a 'bigtime' performer produced the goods yet again to place 2nd in her semi-finals with a seasons best 54.31secs and claim lane 6 in the Womens 400m Hurdles final.

Shaftesbury entered the final BAL Premier Meeting fighting for their lives in a relegation battle with Belgrave, Birchfield and Enfield & Haringey.
Despite warm conditions the headwinds provided sprinters with a real challenge with the winds varying from -2.0m/s to -6.7m/s!

Brilliant performances at the European Masters Champs in Ljubljana, Slovenia last week saw a total of SIX GOLD MEDALS for two of our top female age group Veteran athletes.
