Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers are part of a formal partnership with Barnet Schools Athletics Association promoting their competition programme. Commencing on 1st January 2009. The partnership forms part of the Beacon Club Status which was awarded to SBH by England Athletics.
The partnership consists of the following:-
1. Cross Country: Seven Meetings
3 Girls and 3 Boys League Meetings to be held in late September through to November each year.
A Borough Championships for Secondary Schools (Usually held in December or January)
2. Track & Field: Ten Meetings
3 League meetings for each of Year 7; Year 8 and Combined Years 9/10
A Borough Championships for Secondary Schools
3. Selection and Administration of the teams representing the Borough at the Middlesex Schools XC and T/F Championships.
4. Provision of Coaching and Officiating Course Opportunities on an annual basis.
